Webs4u roles
Webs4u acts as Data Processor for any data, that has been uploaded to, sent to, provided to or exchanged with our servers and infrastructure.
Webs4u clients remain the Data Controller for all and any data, transferred in this manner.
Webs4u acts as Data Controller only for information, provided to Webs4u by means of service subscription and as a part of general account management procedures. This includes essential information for the services provided and optional marketing data.
In the Data Controller role, Webs4u gathers and keeps track of:
Information that users provide through optional, voluntary submissions. These are voluntary submissions made by You in order to receive our electronic newsletters, to participate in our message boards or forums, to email a friend, and from participation in polls and surveys.

This information allows us to better tailor our content to readers’ needs and to help our advertisers and sponsors better understand the demographics of our audience. Because Webs4u derives its revenue mainly from sponsorships and advertising, providing such aggregated demographic data is essential to keeping our service free to users. Under no circumstances does Webs4u divulge any information about an individual user to a third party, unless this is explicitly required by the Law.

Do we use ‘cookies’?
Your shopping cart contents are stored in “cookies.” A cookie is a small file placed on your computer’s hard drive by a web site. As you shop, the “cookie” records each purchase and the price in your shopping cart. Without the cookies, the shopping cart cannot “remember” all of your items. As a result each time you leave the cart to continue shopping, the items disappear. Cookies will also remember the items added to your cart so when you return at a later time they will still be there. Webs4u Design & Hosting DOES NOT store any personal information in the cookie. A cookie in no way gives sites access to your computer hardware or software or any information about you. We simply create a cookie to store the items in your shopping cart.
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
– “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
– “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser (like Internet Explorer or Google Chrome) settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser’s Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies. You can also use the Cookie Bar at the bottom of any page to either “Accept” or disable cookies but keep in mind, if you disable the essential cookies, some features will be disabled that make your site experience more efficient and some of our services will not function properly. However, you can still place orders. View our Cookie Policy.

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems [and our mobile applications] include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy./Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems [and our mobile applications] include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. We do not specifically market to children under 13.

This principle requires not only that individuals have enforceable rights against data users, but also that individuals have recourse to courts or a government agency to investigate and/or prosecute non-compliance by data processors.
CAN SPAM Act
The CAN-SPAM Act is a law that sets the rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives recipients the right to have emails stopped from being sent to them, and spells out tough penalties for violations.
